Pedagogies for a Broken World
Measures of exclusion, erasure, and violence have shaped the world for centuries. From stolen Indigenous lands to forced and enslaved labor, systemic inequalities and inequities have functioned as a kind of cruel common denominator across cultures and histories. Despite persistent narratives of progress, vast social gaps have not only persisted across time but grown as the benefits of advancement have been reserved for but a privileged few.
