The COVID-19 pandemic broke the in-person, studio model of design pedagogy. Educators, administrators, and students quickly adapted to new methods and tools. Such radical breaks from pedagogical tradition offer new directions for pedagogy and practice, beyond long-term and immediate crisis situations where the studio model is rendered infeasible .
