9. All authors whose articles are "rejected" should be sent an explanatory letter by the Guest Editor with copies of the peer reviews included. The Executive Editor should receive a copy of your "rejection" letters and the accompanying peer review reports. DO NOT simply forward the articles you do not accept to the general JAE article pool. Either "accept" or "reject" all articles.

10. Once your final submission packet of articles has been accepted by the Executive Editor, you will be notified. At that point you will draft and submit your guest editorial to accompany the issue. Editorial word limit is usually 900 words or one page maximum.

11. Make sure that the author has submitted only ONE text file, properly named, and that all the image files (if in digital format) are properly named. No random, or supplementary files should be on the diskette submitted.

12. The final revised papers package with verified final checkist from the authors should be sent to the Managing Editor no more than 6 months after the submission deadline for publication. Authors should also be provided with a reject or accept letter within this time period.

13. No more than 5 articles may be provisionally accepted for any theme issue without permission of the executive editor.
